"Dear Mr. McCoach, your service to the public with your newsletter is the epitome of a very long term example of courage under fire and which has always been under constant public scrutiny.
My wife and I stand with you on every count – and you can say so publicly, if it is of any help. You are however, much more tolerant of the limp-wristed whiners than we are. The only thing you can't give is the exact time of economic collapse, nor can I.
You were one of the very first to begin enlightening and warning the public of the coming economic disasters from every aspect of brokerage, banking, and government collusion years ago even when you knew it would draw fire. You have our admiration. I can only hope that if we were confronted with the same difficult choices as you had, we would have had the courage to act as honorably as you did.
Remember that we have always a plate set for you at our table. Our continued support and very best regards."

"I was just sitting in my RV and realized there would be no RV if it wasn't for you.
Thank you, thank you, and thank you!"

"When I first met you, you told me I could use the profits I would make in the mining stocks to pay off my house. I didn't really believe you. Two and half years later I wrote a check to do just that. I never thought this would be possible. Thank you so much for your wise guidance."

"I have never made this kind of money at investing. I am addicted to profits!"

"Mr. McCoach, I just had to write and tell you how thankful I was to be in the audience for your recent presentation to high school age students regarding mining and the amount of minerals required to produce the things we use in our lives. It was so well done and convincing; you completely turned the understanding of young minds 180 degrees on the topic of responsible mining. You had their full and undivided attention for 30 minutes, something I have rarely seen with an audience of this age.
Since hearing this presentation I look at everything much differently. Your comment "Look around you and everything you see, if it hasn't been grown, it has to be mined" has made me realize how important mining is in our lives.
There is a huge disconnect in society on how things are made and what minerals are required to make them. The example you gave with a cell phone was fantastic. Literally every piece and part of a cell phone comes from mining yet not one in 1000 people understand this fact.
You need to have someone take a video of your presentation and put it on You Tube. It should be part of every High School curriculum in the country.
I have been a long term subscriber to your publications and always look forward to your writings and interviews.
Thanks for everything you do to enlighten us all on so many important topics."

"Dear Greg, my wife and I were completely speechless that you took the time to have breakfast with our family and help my wife and I with our portfolio. We were especially touched by how kind you were towards our children in explaining some of your adventures in the field and about minerals in their lives.
They couldn't stop talking about it afterwards. You made a major impression on them and they will never look at the world in the same way. We just wanted you to know we think you are a class act. Thanks for all the work you do to put out a quality newsletter. We read it cover to cover as soon as we get it."

Greg McCoach, editor of The Mining Speculator, was featured on CNBC in 2007 and was asked his opinion on gold prices. At the time, gold was trading for $637/ounce. He predicted Gold to go over $1,000/ounce in a 12-24 month period. Of course he was right!
