Display showing all the different placer gold types found in the Yukon. Each sample represents a different gold source. Each gold deposit has its own unique signature and over 80 different types of placer gold have been discovered.

The type of dredge used to mine gold during the Klondike Gold Rush. These dredges were powered by electricity and were being used in the Klondike before New York City had electric lighting.

Picture of prospectors leaving for the gold camps. A prospector couldn't go over the pass unless he or she had $600 worth of supplies. Unfortunately by the time most of these people got to the gold camp, most of the good claims had already been taken.

Testimonials

"When I first met you, you told me I could use the profits I would make in the mining stocks to pay off my house.  I didn’t really believe you.  Two and half years later I wrote a check to do just that.  I never thought this would be possible. Thank you so much for your wise guidance."
